A withered old gnoll with a long silver beard, wielding a quarterstaff and wearing a cloak. He looks like a figure from mythology! Wait, is his beard held on to his ears with hooks?

Gnoll | Chaos Knight | Xom |
The Species, Background, and God choices are all mandatory. You must be worshipping one of the gods listed above before entering Lair, Orcish Mines, the Vaults or Depths, unless this isn't possible in which case you must worship them as soon as you can. Don't use faded altars (except in challenges where you can choose any god), and don't do anything to lose your religion unless otherwise specified.
NOTE: Except for Beogh, Ignis, Jiyva and Lugonu, an altar for the other gods will ALWAYS show up by D:10.
Don't start unarmed. Have a non-artefact chaos-branded weapon enchanted to +9 (or higher if you get a gift). You don't actually have to use it, but you need it in your inventory.
Have a spell in every school at 20% failure or less, without brilliance. Multi-school spells count for all applicable schools.
Have balanced base attributes (stats). In other words, every 3rd level, increase the attribute with the lowest base score. Take your pick if there's a tie.
Again, only base attributes count; you're sure to get a lot of mutations from Xom that affect these.
Conducts are worth +5 points each, to a maximum of half your score from milestones, rounded down. (So if you achieve 4 milestones (20 points) you can earn up to 10 points from conduct bonuses.) Small mistakes in following conducts will usually be forgiven.
Win the game with at least 50 maces and/or great maces in your inventory. You don't need to carry them with you on the orb run or anything; it's fine to pile them up near the dungeon exit. (Watch out that Xom doesn't get too bored though...)
Any time after entering The Lair, Orc, or Depths, abandon Xom. Once he is mollified, immediately rejoin him. (If you're fighting or otherwise in danger, you can wait until it's safe to do so.) You must leave and rejoin Xom before you enter Zot.
Bonus challenges are worth one star each, similar to banners in Crawl tournaments. Small mistakes will usually be forgiven.
The main way to score points. +5 points each, and can be done in any order.
